National Center for Information Technology conducted e-citizen Training Program in Gn.Fuvahmulah held from 21th April to 04th May 2015 in which 15 candidates participated and completed the course. The e-CITIZEN programme focuses on the candidate’s skills and knowledge in essential computer and internet use and gives them the confidence to participate in society as an e-citizen. The programme aims to make candidates aware of available online information and service resources from a wide variety of areas including: news, government, consumer, travel, education/training, employment, health and business. The candidate will be able to confidently interact with online service providers and carry out routine tasks such as buying a CD or book, paying a e-bill, banking online, paying tax, e-mailing, or making a holiday reservation.
