NCIT officially launches 3 new e-Services on its 10th Anniversary

In celebration of NCIT’s 10th anniversary we have launched three new e-services today, namely eCounter, eSchool and Online Vehicle Domain Bidding service.
NCIT was established on March 25th, 2003 by an initiative driven by former Minister of Communication Science and Technology Hon. Midhhath Hilmy. 
The eCounter service launched today by Acting Minister of Transport and Communications colonel (Rtd) Mohamed Nazim, aims to replace the physical counter of government organizations, allowing citizen’s to submit applications online.
Minister of education Hon. Asim Ahmed launched eSchool system which allows ministry of education and schools to generate enrollment and institutional reports, enabling them to take informed decisions and plan future development of the sector. The system enables teachers to maintain class attendances capturing one of the most essential educational statistics from its source.
Online vehicle Domain service, launched by the Chairman of Transport Authority Mr. Abdul Rasheed Naafiz, will allow citizens to bid online for vehicle domains. This service is designed to provide transparency and increase participation in in providing this service.
