National Centre for Information Technology (NCIT) concludes the introductory session on “Microsoft Multipoint Mouse Mischief Technology” to educational professionals yesterday (05th September 2011). This two day program was attended by educators from various Teacher Resource Centres, Ministry of Education and Centre for Continuing Education.
Speaking at the closing ceremony Minister of Transport and Communication Hon. Mohamed Adil Saleem highlighted the significance of incorporating interactive technology into the class room curriculum. He also noted the importance of making sure that technology is applied in a way that promotes our religion and culture.
In addition, Deputy Minister of Education Dr. Abdullah Nazeer noted the importance of capacity building of teachers in using ICT and to help them develop necessary skill and knowledge of related pedagogies to enhance the teaching and learning processes.
The Closing ceremony was attended by the Minister of Transport and Communication Honorable Adil Saleem, Deputy Minister of Transport and Communication Mr.Mohamed Fayaz, Minister of State Dr.Abdullah Nazeer, Deputy Director General of Centre for Continuing Education General Adam Shareef and executives of National Centre for Information Technology.
