Five Government Organizations in Thiladhunmathi Uthuruburi Dhidhoo has started using Government E-letter Management System (GEMS) on 12th July 2011. The organizations are:

• Thiladhunmathi Uthuruburi Atholhu Councilge Idhaaraa
• Haa Alif Atoll Education Centre
• Thiladhunmathi Uthuruburi Dhidhoo Councilge Idhara
• Thiladhunmathi Uthuruburi Dhidhoo Magistrate Court
• Haa Alif Atoll Hospital

All the staffs from these organisations were given training on how to use the system. Training sessions were held for administrators, senior staffs and GEMS users of each organization to ensure that all respective staffs of these organizations are fully aware of how to use the GEMS system.
 Furthermore, NCIT Roll-out Team carried out On-the-Job training and gave further training to Entry and Dispatch staff of each individual organization at the respective location.

In summary, 48 staff was given GEMS User Training, 08 staff was given GEMS Administrator Training and 24 senior staff was given GEMS Section Head’s training. The trainings were held in the TRC lab of Haa Alif Atoll Education Centre.

By this rollout, GEMS will enable the mentioned government offices in Thiladhunmathi Uthuruburi Dhidhoo to exchange communications electronically.
