1. The National Centre for Information Technology (NCIT) wishes to hire a competent firm to carry out the Support & Maintenance of the Government Network Maldives (GNM), a nationwide computer network connecting the Government agencies in Male’ (including Vilingili, Hulhule and Hulhumale’) and the 20 atoll capitals
2. The National Centre for Information Technology (NCIT) now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the Support and Maintenance of the Government Network of Maldives (GNM) in Male’ and the 20 atoll capitals
3. The Request for Proposal (RFP), in the English language may be obtained by interested parties from the address below. The RFP can also be sent via email for those requesting it via email.

4. Interested bidders downloading the RFP from the website should send an email to the email address given below informing NCIT of the bidders contact details
5. Interested bidders may obtain further information from NCIT. All queries should be sent via email to the email address given below.
6. Bids must be delivered to the address below at or before 1100 hours, 08 March 2009. Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the Bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at the address below at 1100 hours, 08 March 2009.
7. Bids delivered via electronic mail will be accepted. Electronic mail submissions should be received by NCIT at latest one hour before the bid submission deadline
8. A Pre-Bid Meeting will take place at 1100 hours on 22 February 2009 at the National Centre for Information Technology.
9. The National Centre for Information Technology will not be responsible for any costs or expenses incurred by Bidders in connection with the preparation or delivery of Bids.
